Few places are travelled to more than Las Vegas to celebrate a bachelor party. Forget the money-trap pools and the night clubs. We wanted a list of the best things to do that left you with a memorable experience. Let’s get right to it. Here’s the 3 best places to go for a bachelor party in Las Vegas.
#1 Apocalypse Vegas: We were… blown away. There’s nothing quite like this experience on the planet, let alone in Las Vegas. This is a 90 minute adrenaline packed adventure you’ll remember for a lifetime. Explore and shoot your way out of a 40k square foot facility that’s just 5 minutes from the strip.
Here’s the skinny: This place hired real Navy SEALs, Army Rangers, and Marine Force Recon vets to run their interactive show. You’re submerged into a scenario where a chemical outbreak as created a race of zombies you’ll need to take-out and escape the fake city they’ve set up in their huge facility. You’re geared up with air-soft machine guns, and some real military gear to do battle with. The OTL’s (the Special Forces Vets) show you how to kick down doors, clear rooms and communicate effectively in an environment that truly is an overload to the senses. You’ll be on the lookout for bits of intel that helps you find the vaccine for the outbreak. Will you be brave enough to test the vaccine when you find it? (Don’t worry, it was just some delicious juice).
The OTL’s make the difference. If you ever wanted to be impressed by a Special Forces Operator with some REAL war stories to share… this is the spot. You feel like you’re on their squad when you’re running through the scenario, it’s a treat to be honest. They stick around after the show to share stories, take pictures and make you laugh… somehow they’re all hilarious which is an odd mix when you realize how they’re also some of the baddest men on the planet. America!
What we love: Free ride from a handful of strip locations in authentic urban assault vehicles (sometimes just a paddy wagon, or converted bus, but still a cool ride). Perfect group activity as they make the payment process easy for splitting the tab, etc. Price is low for a Vegas attraction. No kids around either, which is nice considering some of the other attractions we went to.
What we didn’t love: It’s only 90 minutes… we could have shot zombies for 3 hours.
#2 Pole Position Las Vegas: Feel the Thrill of Indoor Go-Kart Racing! Pole Position Raceway offers several racing options. The most-popular go kart racing format is their Arrive & Drive program that allows customers to show up individually or in small groups and race in standard races. These kart races last approximately 10 minutes.
Here’s the skinny: Races are available for either adult or youth racing. They also offer group events and party packages that provide private racing and reserved time slots perfect for a bachelor party. These packages are available in two, three and four-race formats and include items to make the occasion extra special. For larger groups Pole Position Raceway also offers full facility rentals.
Additionally, full facility rentals provide guests with the opportunity to run different race formats such as Ironman, Team Endurance or Elimination races.
What we loved: FAST CARS. This is the real deal Go-Kart track. Great environment and really nice staff. The food and drink is a great addition!
What we didn’t love: Lots. Of. Kids. Not perfect for some language choices made at a bachelor party.
#3 Indoor Skydiving: Experience the thrilling sensation of skydiving, without a parachute or airplane, as a 1,000 horsepower motor keeps you soaring through air in America’s original indoor skydiving facility.
Here’s the skinny: The propeller turns on and the air begins to flow. You’re floating, flying, free falling through the air with wind speeds up to 120 mph. Except you’re not… it’s pretty cool. You get to go in with 2-3 people for your session with a pro sky-diver
Other Las Vegas attractions will not offer you the chance to defy gravity! If you share their love for the extreme sport of indoor skydiving, you crave adrenaline-inducing Las Vegas activities, or you simply want to try something epic on your Vegas vacation, come test your limits on this exhilarating simulated skydive. Try it more than once, and reach new heights every time!
What we loved: Not jumping out of a plane! You really do feel like you’re flying. We had almost as much fun watching our instructor show us how to REALLY use the fan. They have the BEST staff. Safe but super fun.
We we didn’t love: Every been outside on a really windy day? Sort of like paying for that except you get to fly away… ok we sort of like that… hard to not like this place.
